Александар Гошев

Aleksandar Goshev was born on 30.09.1970 in Strumica. He completed his education as follows: Primary Education: Turnovo Secondary Music Education: DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj," Skopje Higher Studies: Music Academy, Novi Sad (Prof. Ferenc Tarjani) In 1993, he started teaching at the Primary Music School in Sremska Mitrovica, and in 1994, he became the first hornist at the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad. Teaching & Pedagogical Career: Started teaching horn and trumpet in Sremska Mitrovica (1993/94). Taught students who won numerous competition awards. Returned to Skopje in 1999 and continued teaching at DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj." Since 2007, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Music Arts, Skopje (specializing in horn, chamber music, and orchestral studies). Performance & Musical Engagements: Won awards as a student in competitions in Skopje, Dubrovnik, and other locations. Performed with the Music Academy's Chamber Orchestra and participated in international festivals. Joined the Novi Sad Opera Orchestra in 1994 and later performed with the Vojvodina Philharmonic and Subotica Philharmonic. Since 1999, a member of the Macedonian Philharmonic. Performs as part of the Macedonian Brass Quintet and the Skopje Wind Quintet, both locally and internationally. Contributions & Achievements: Participated in international seminars and won first place at a young pedagogues seminar in Hungary. Founder of the Hornists' Association in Macedonia. Organizer of the annual Summer Music Camp "Strumica 2020." Actively involved in music education programs and state competitions in Macedonia. Hobbies: He enjoys gardening, fruit growing, beekeeping, hunting, fishing, and especially cooking traditional dishes and creating new recipes.
