Minka Popović began piano studies at age five with Prof. Bojan Bruna, completed secondary school with Prof. Olga and Aleksandar Bauer, and graduated with highest honors from Faculty of Musical Arts Belgrade with Prof. Nevene Popović. Continued studies with Prof. Eldar Neboljšin at Hanns Eisler Berlin and completed master's with highest honors at Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Cordelia Höfer-Teutsch.
Award winner: 2nd prize International Competition Athens (2006), Villa de Capdepera Spain (2006), Special 1st prize Banja Luka Biennale (2008), 3rd prize XXI Ramon Lull Rotary Club (2014), Karadjordjević Royal Family Award, UMUS Best Young Artist (2013). Debuted "Listomania" at Berlin Philharmonic (2011), returned 2013 with new project.
Performed across Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Austria, Germany, Spain, Romania, Japan. Regular soloist with Salzburg Philharmonic and Mozarteum Orchestra musicians. Festivals: Brianza Classica Milan, Kammermusik Sommer Bad Hofgastein, Konzert Nouveau Slovenia. Resident soloist at Festung Salzburg Goldener Saal performing Mozart concertos with Mozart Kammerorchester Salzburg.
Artistic Director of "Susački glazbeni večeri" festival on Susak Island (16+ years). Founder of Pianissimo Salzburg association promoting culture and arts. Director of private music school "Pianissimo" Salzburg (2021-present), previously assistant at Mozarteum University (2019-2021). Performed Chopin No.2 with Salzburg Philharmonic, Beethoven/Liszt concertos in Bad Reichenhall, Saint-Saëns "Carnival of the Animals" tour (25+ performances Austria/Germany).
